EXPLORATION DRILLING

Experienced in drilling supervision for various stages of exploration. Drilling may include but not limited to; Auger Drilling, Aircore drilling, Reverse Circulation drilling and Diamond Drilling. We ensure as part of effective supervision, safety of personnel, good environmental practices, and quality of drill material(samples).

SPT

The technique is to determine the resistance of soils, based on the value for the penetration resistance of any soil and to obtain disturbed samples of the soils for identification purposes. This provides the needed information for consideration before undertaking structural earthworks.

TEST PITTING

For most structural earthworks, the physical in-situ soil properties are of great relevance, the simplest cost effective and widely used method of inspecting subsurface soil is Test pitting (excavation by Hand, backhoe or Dozer). We provide expert supervision. This enables the preliminary assessment of groundwater regime and obtaining data on the subsurface soil and weathering profiles underlying a site. This provides the needed information for consideration before undertaking any structural earthworks
